Continuing the company’s long & successful history in delivery of highway maintenance contracts Diban have worked closely with our clients to ensure maximised performance of long-term, 278/ 106 works – sect’ 41 works. The Luton Busway scheme brought with it consideration of added coordination. Car park builds, slip roads enhancing the network within the borough itself.

With the new University car park being installed at a disused RAF station Diban work instruction included supervision from “unexploded ordnance specialists”. Included in the work package was the utility network ducting with associated chambers along with street furniture installation. Diversionary works being completed prior to construction of the car park itself inclusive of both block paving/granite setts & associated concrete reinstatement & foundation works totalling 12,000m² across the car park.

With the scope of works came a need for flexibility to manage the design changes faced along the way. Ducting & drainage installation combined with the build of the station itself – kerb & paving along with hard landscaping.
As the project progressed the need for flexibility continued with resource requirements matched with supply chain support to meet the timescales dictated by the project itself.

Providing supervised teams for both routine & reactive maintenance works while resourcing larger planned schemes. In Camden we have provided flexible and permeable eco-paving since 2015, to deliver a cost effective and sustainable solution to paving. Other multiple tasks covering pothole repair, major junction improvements – sect’ 41, 278/ 106 works.
